Transmission

We transmit bulk electricity from electricity generating plants to distribution load centres nationwide for national development. We do not distribute electricity directly to consumers.

Nexus in the value chain

Our transmission network criss-crosses the entire nation, hinged on transmission towers doting the nation’s landscape. We are the nexus in the nations power value chain.

Grid Expansion

Our capacity to transmit electricity through the nations grid is now 8,100MW. We are currently rehabilitating and expanding the nation’s grid with the addition of new projects to further increase transmission capacity.

National Assets

Vandalism is a threat to our collective national assets. Each time this happens, the loss and setback are enormous. Help our grid expansion drive by protecting electricity facilities in your community.
